All are welcome to take part in our district striking competition. Teams should agree with Philip in advance what they are going to ring. Towers may enter more than one team, ringing a method if you are able or rounds and simple call changes for less experienced bands. Individual ringers can ring for up to two teams and there will be an official reserve in case any team is one short.
Practice on the bells will be available from 2 pm, with the draw around 3 pm, followed by the competition.
We will have a Bring and Share Tea around 5 pm, followed by a short quarterly meeting, and the announcement of the results and presentation of the trophies. Please bring something homemade, rather than shop bought, if at all possible for the tea. Also, please will you take home what’s left of your offering afterwards.
All are very welcome, even if you wish to come and support your team(s) but are not ringing.
