500th Peal
Same tower, bell and method

Brian Whiting rang his 500th peal at Horringer recently. He rang his first peal, Plain Bob Major, on the second in this tower where he had learned to ring, on 22nd March 1969. Chris Nunn rang the fourth on that day and was the only other member of the original band.
